Description

"Such a beautiful, ballet shoe pink colour, this is quite the most glorious rose I’ve tasted in ages. Classic crunchy-crisp and dry, it’s a true Provence style in that it’s beautifully aromatic, and saturated with cherry and raspberry notes, and spruiking loads of spice. It’s fresh, frisky and fabulous to drink" Yvonne Lorkin, April 2018

"Very pale pink colour, near colourless on the rim. The nose is elegantly proportioned with refined and intense aromas of delicate red berry fruit, red florals and minerals. The nose possesses an array of fragrances and is thirst-quenching. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has taut, delicate flavours of fine red berry fruits with fresh florals and nuances of mouthwatering minerals. Suggestion of nutty elements and hints of fresh herbs add detail. The mouthfeel is crisp with lacy acidity and very fine phenolic textures provide excellent linearity, carrying to a subtle, aromatic finish. This is a crisp, refreshing, mouthwatering dry Provence rosé with delicate fruit, floral and mineral flavours. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes and antipasto over the next 2 years. From Maison Saint Aix. A blend of Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Cinsaut, 70% direct presses and 30% saignee, cool-fermented to 13.0% alc" Raymond Chan, Mar 2018

"An exquisitely styled rosé, the delicately fragrant bouquet shows white stone fruit, watermelon, lemon peel, floral and subtle savoury notes. The palate delivers excellent concentration and focus, brilliantly enhanced by juicy mouthfeel and fine texture, finishing wonderfully long and delightfully dry. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2018

"The colour is youthful salmon pink-purple, the aroma sweetly spicy with raspberry and background dried herb nuances. The palate is soft and fruity, flavoursome and charming, with a faint flick of sweetness in harmony with the wine. It finishes clean and dry, with richness and length. An impressive rosé which is drinking at its best now. Food: Baked ocean trout with sage, wrapped in prosciutto" Huone Hooke, Real Review, Mar 2018

A classical French Rose blend of Grenache (60%), Syrah (20%), Cinsault (20%). A fragrant and well balanced wine, AIX's hypnotising salmon pink colour reveals a fruity freshness and premium rosé. The nose is fresh and fragrant, delicate yet youthful and offers classy notes of watermelon, strawberries and flowers.Fermented between a cool 11 and 13 degrees Celsius, AIX Rosé is elegant, generous and tasty and the perfect wine to drink all day long.

AIX Rosé is made in the Provence region of France, just an hour North-East from the historical city of Aix-en-Provence. The Provence region is known for making the best rosés in the world. From the renowned appellation 'AOP Coteaux d'Aix en Provence', AIX nurtures its heritage and has a passion and dedication to make the best Provence rosé.

The hotly anticipated new release AIX Rosé emerged from a scorching Provençal summer. So warm in fact, that harvest commenced early, in order to capture the quickly ripening berries at their peak. Despite the fierce conditions, fruit quality was excellent: the berries, though small, were perfectly ripe and full of varietal flavour. Pristine Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes were handled with the utmost care and vinified utilising the latest technology, to preserve delicate aromas and flavours. AIX Rosé is made to be shared - generously, with style, passion, personality and fun, the ultimate expression of Provence.

Symbolised in the seal of two Mandarin ducks, ''AIX Galericulata'' in Latin, AIX is inspired by the same simple beauty of sharing one's life with another. Dramatic and full of colour, these birds that remain together for life reflect great devotion and generosity of spirit. You'll find the essence of this generosity cast back into every bottle of AIX Rosé.
