Exclusive White Wine Mixed Case
Description
1 x Framingham Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2019
Smoky aromatics, with flint, bitter lemon citrus, grapefruit and suggestions of tropical fruit salad. Rich, fleshy palate with good mouthfeel, texture and harmony. Flavours of yellow citrus, currant, stonefruit and sweet herbs.
Each parcel of fruit is kept separate in the winery. Juices were predominately fermented in stainless steel using several different treatments, however 11% of the final wine was fermented in oak and acacia puncheons and barrels.
Food Pairing: Serve with all kinds of seafoods and salads
Alc 13.0% - Seal: Screw Cap
1 x Greenhough Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2019
Classic aromas of fragrant citrus zest and passionfruit. The wine is juicy and ripe with tangelo and tropical, passionfruit flavours balanced by a bright line of 'crunchy' freshness. A small portion of high solids, wild fermentation in seasoned French oak has contributed subtle palate texture and complexity. Waimea means River Garden in Maori.
Spring temperatures were in line with the historical average. Rainfall was only 60% of the norm but regular enough to promote excellent vine health. Regular, small rainfall events over December maintained balance and flowering conditions were ideal. This was the introduction to a long, dry, warm summer. December/January daytime temperatures were 3-5 degrees celcius above the historical average. Sunshine hours for january were a NZ record high at 335. Diurnal range over thi period was a little greaterr than usual, particularly through February. Just 3mm rainfall between Christmas Day and harvest began early on Monday 4th March 2019. A function of the near perfect growing season but also a conscious decision on our part to pick fruit while acids remained fresh and sugars were at moderate levels. 30mm rainfall over night on March 8th was significant in the context of the season but not extreme and with few lay-days to allow conditions to dry out, harvest continued to completion on March 26th.

"This good-value regional blend is freshly aromatic and full-bodied (13.5% alc/vol), with good intensity of vibrant, ripe pear, lychee and spice flavours and a dryish finish" Michael Cooper, Oct 2018
"Wonderfully fruited and succulent, this comforting pinot gris shows lifted aromas of white flesh stone fruit, fresh pear, floral and subtle spice on the nose, leading to a beautifully rounded palate that is smooth and refreshing. It is filled with attractive flavours and offers fabulous drinking. At its best: now to 2020" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2018
"Brilliant pale straw-yellow with some depth and lemon hues, light on the rim. The nose is fresh with a good, soft, rounded core of bright white and yellow stonefruits along with exotic florals, and nuances of honeysuckle and minerals. Off-dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has an elegant heart of white and yellow stonefruits with floral detail and delicate layers of honeysuckle and hints of minerals. The flavours are balanced and harmonious. The fruit flows along a fresh, finely-textured line with background acidity carrying the wine to an elegant finish. This is an elegant off-dry Pinot Gris with stonefruit, floral, honey and mineral flavours and a soft-textured line. Match with Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine over the next 3+ years. Marlborough fruit, 50% from the Awatere, 40% from Rapaura and 10% Southern Valleys, fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and 6.9 g/L RS" Raymond Chan, Aug 2018
Offers aromas of Turkish delight, fresh roses, honey suckle, and ripe stone fruit. Tropical fruit and nextarine flavours lead into rich textural complexities and a ginger bread spice. The wine finishes with a luscious and lingering acidity.
Food Pairing: Enjoy with a selection of tapas or a Vietnamese chicken salad.

1 x Wild Rock Marlborough Pinot Gris 2016
AWARDED 17.5/18: Raymond Chan, Oct 2016
"Bright, very pale straw colour with a suggestion of green hues, near colourless on edge. This has a fresh and firm nose with aromatic white stonefruits and notes of exotic florals and honeysuckle that build in intensity, revealing some underlying dive and power. Dry to taste, this has a refreshing and bright palate with a crisp, steely and positive line of white stonefruits, exotic florals and honeysuckle that form a tight core. The palate has definite textures, balanced by lively acidity, and the concentrated core carries to a lingering finish of stonefruits and lifted florals. This is a tightly concentrated, lively dry Pinot Gris with exotic stonefruit, floral and honied flavours, on a fine-textured, refreshing, linear palate. Match with Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine over the next 3 years." Raymond Chan, Oct 2016
Pale yellow straw colour. Aromas of canned peaches, glazed ginger, white blossom and a hint of honey. A flavoursome and generous palate of delicious golden fruits and a long lingering finish.
Food Match: Apéritif and spicy foods.

1 x Kumeu Village Chardonnay 2018
The weighty mid-palate also shows peachy ripeness along with crisp acid minerality that gives the wine a refreshing cleansing quality. This wine is delightful as an aperitif, and even better to drink with fish and shellfish.
Produced from hand harvested grapes grown in Kumeu and Hawkes Bay this wine was fermented 80% in old French oak barriques, and 20% in stainless steel tanks. The barrel fermentation provides some richness but very little oak in influence. Combined with the tank fermentation this allows the vibrant fruit to show through beautifully with lively lime and lemon aromas and a flinty, mineral edginess with hints of fig and white peach.

1 x Rapaura Springs Reserve Marlborough Chardonnay 2018
The Reserve Chardonnay is concentrated and delicious. Aromas of honey suckle, white peach, nectarine and preserved lemons are complimented by attractive oak and butter. On the palate, it is full bodied with stone fruit and melon flavours combined with a toasty, sweet spice influence from French Oak maturation.
