"Delightfully fruited and elegantly fragrant on the nose showing rockmelon, fresh pear, apple and floral characters. The palate is succulent and beautifully weighted with pristine fruit flavours and smooth mouthfeel, wonderfully supported by vibrant acidity, finishing long and delectable Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2018
This Pinot Gris shows lifted notes of ripe golden pear and warm spices. The palate is juicy and mouth filling with delicious ripe pear, and baked short crust pastry. The wine is beautifully textured and expressive showing excellent weight and length. Harmonious, approachable and definitely worth a second glass (or bottle!)
The grapes for this wine were grown in premium vineyards in the Wairau Valley and Awatere Valley in heart of Marlborough.
Food Pairing: Well matched with Asian glazed salmon or spicy pork.
