Each of One Block's wines presents the fruit from a single vineyard block, thoughtfully selected and individually crafted by our winemaker, Jo Gear. The fruit for this Riesling was grown at Domenic Mondillo’s vineyard in Bendigo, a famous sub-region of Central Otago. Hand-harvested in mid-April the fruit showed flavour ripeness earlier than usual and was gently handled from grape to bottle. The wine shows crabapple and tropical fruit aromas and good acidity to balance the long, off-dry finish.
