"The opulent mouth-feel makes this wine a great drink"
Flavours and aromas of Nashi pear and spice are evident. The rich texture and fullness, even though the wine is essentially dry, are the result of ripe grapes. The wine has great balance with finesse and purity of fruit. The standout is the texture of the wine. The opulent mouth-feel makes this wine a great drink. Winemakers Notes This is a great wine to drink on its own or it would fit well with Asian style food. Serve lightly chilled.
Trinity Hills reputation is based on their ability to produce outstanding wines that explode with fruit character and yet retain the sophistication and complexity we would expect from old world wines. John Hancock is regarded as one of New Zealands leading and most innovative winemakers.

Fragrant aromas of peaches and apricots, a dash of mango and cunning oak.
Fragrant aromas of peaches and apricots, a dash of mango and cunning oak.The palate delivers loads of tasty treats fruity mid-palate, creamy texture and fine acidity. Nicely balanced; a gorgeous wine.
Typical fresh fruit characters from Hawkes Bay chardonnay such as grapefruit and melon are unencumbered with the minimal use of oak, in a Chablis vein. The wine is rich and round, with soft acidity and attractive sweet fruit. Maturation under good cellar conditions for a further 2 years will be well rewarded. Winemakers Notes

"distinct aromas & flavours of citrus blossom, cumquat peel & jasmine dominate the wine"
4 STARS: Winestate Magazine
The distinct aromas and flavours of citrus blossom, cumquat peel and jasmine dominate the wine. The rich, full and soft texture is the endearing feature. The exotic and sensual nature of this wine makes it a great substitute for Chardonnay or Pinot Gris. We recommend trying with various Asian-style foods. With further time in the bottle this wine will develop greater apparent richness and complexity with some toastiness. Hard not to drink!! This type of wine is best consumed within 3 to 4 years.
