Overstock clearance special: Oh la la! French, bubbly, fresh and crisp – stellar sparkling made using the Methode Traditionnelle technique which is also how Champagne is produced but with different grape varieties…so it’s kinda like Champagne but minus the price tag.. Softly aromatic, beautiful balanced, blimey its good. Tres bon!
"A generously expressed methode traditionnelle, the richly fragrant bouquet shows ripe apple, citrus, brioche and almond notes. The palate delivers lovely mid palate weight and rounded mouthfeel, beautifully supported by silky texture and integrated acidity. A pale and brillant gold wine with fine bubbles. Subtle nose with floral aromas. The palate is elegant, long-lasting and well-balanced between freshness and fruit.
Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Chenin and Chardonnay. The proportion used of each grape necessarily changes each year to maintain the House style.
