Description
Specially crafted from a single vineyard site, it’s just what the doctor ordered! Ridiculously priced, generously styled, incredibly appealing and ever so popular with the Pinot Noir crowd – betcha by golly WOW, we love it!
"It is sweetly fragrant on the nose displaying dark berry, mixed spice, game and floral characters with subtle earthy mushroom complexity. The palate is silky and soothing, and offers layers of delectable fruit flavours together with elegant savoury undertones. For the price this is hard to beat. At its best: now to 2017. " Sam Kim Wine Orbit Jan 2016.
Intense Pinot Noir with a beautiful bouquet of violets with vanilla, black cherry and plum.
Deep and dark ruby in colour with purple hues on the rim. Generous flavours of aromatic blackcurrant, ripe boysenberries and marinated olives. Full bodied and well-structured with ripe powdered tannin. Excellent concentration, delicious toasty oak and a long spicy finish. Seasoned with a mixture of new and older French oak.
Fruit for this wine is from a single vineyard in the heart of the Omaka Valley with vigour moderating clay rich soils.
A delightful wine to drink now but also well worth cellaring for at least five years from vintage date. A perfect accompaniment with lamb rack served with mushroom sauce and creamy mash.

One of the best pinot noir available. Had more expensive PN that haven't tasted half as good.
