"90pts.. A brilliantly priced pinot, the fragrant bouquet shows dark cherry, roasted beet, cedar and spice characters. The palate delivers lovely fruit purity and intensity, beautifully framed by supple tannins. The wine is immediately appealing, and offers great everyday drinking. At its best: now to 2018.' A lifted nose of ripe cherry and bright raspberry mingled with a touch of spicy oak. Bright and lively with flavours of red forest fruits, slight nutmeg and juicy plum. This wine has well integrated oak and balanced acidity. The velvety tannins and fine persistence flavours provide good focus and length.
These Pinot Noir grapes were harvested from several vineyard sites in Marlborough. The wine was hand plunged frequently throughout fermentation. Once malolactic fermentation was completed the wine was carefully blended and gently prepared for bottling.
Delicious with roast pork belly, minted lamb chops or rhubarb crumble.
Drink now or will cellar well for at least another three to five years from vintage date.

A very smooth, flavourful pinot noir which we purchased on special. Tried to get a second case but it had sold out. Be sure to get some if you see it anywhere. Lovely.
