"Bright, even, pale straw-yellow colour with lemon-green hues, pale edged. This has a concentrated and intensely powerful bouquet of ginger, spices, rose-petal florals, musk and honey, expressed with focus and clarity. Dry to taste, concentrated, dense and powerful flavours of ginger, spices and exotic musky, florals form a weighty and driven palate. The mouthfeel is rounded, opening out with blossoming flavours. The wine has fruit extract, alcohol power and some phenolic presence, all combined and integral, carrying the flavours to a very long, firmly generous and warm finish. This is a powerful, driven, dry Gewurztraminer with ginger and spice flavours. Match with poultry, pork and semi-hard cheeses over the next 4+ years" Raymond Chan
"It's impressively aromatic on the nose, showing mango, peach, floral and spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate that's richly textured and expansive. Silky, rounded and very long, and very attractive. A wonderful rendition of the variety. At its best: now to 2017." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Ginger, lychee, musk, and pear aromas delighting with their intensity and purity. It’s floral, yet it exhibits cool-climate characteristics with complexity and a touch of minerality coming from time on lees and in large format barrels.
The Grapes were gently whole bunch pressed and run to tank and puncheon for a natural fermentation. The wine was rested on yeast lees for 6 months before a gentle fining, blending and bottling
