This Rose is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes which were selected from vineyards sites capable of reaching optimum flavour intensity. Aromas of raspberry and red pear. The palate displays fresh and juicy watermelon flavours with some ripe pear and subtle raspberry. This Marlborough Estate Sauvignon Blanc Rose is perfectly balanced with fine acidity and great persistence.
Grapes were machine harvested in the cool of the night in order to retain fresh fruit flavours. They then spent just a few hours on skins to extract the delicate amount of light strawberry colour you see in the bottle, then carefully pressed. After settling the juice was fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel at cooler temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness.
Ideal served chilled on a warm summer’s day with grilled fish and a fresh summer salad.
This wine is perfect for drinking now or over the next two years.
