Gentle flavours and aromas of lime, citrus and nectarine compliment the distinct aroma of passionfruit. A mineral element gives presence to a Sancerre-like textural character in the wine. The fresh acid is balanced by a tiny amount of retained sweetness. A modest alcohol level is a big plus for this style of wine.
This is a great wine to drink on its own or it would fit well with Asian style food or fresh shellfish. New season’s asparagus or dishes featuring goat cheese would be sensational match.
