"flavours and aromas of lime, citrus and nectarine compliment the distinct aroma of passionfruit"

Gold Medal and Trophy: Hawke’s Bay A&P Mercedes-Benz Wine Awards 2011

17+/20 Raymond Chan: Raymond Chan Wine Reviews October 2011

3 Stars: Winestate's Annual Hawkes Bay Regional Tasting September 2011

Gentle flavours and aromas of lime, citrus and nectarine compliment the distinct aroma of passionfruit. A mineral element gives presence to a Sancerre-like textural character in the wine. The fresh acid is balanced by a tiny amount of retained sweetness. A modest alcohol level is a big plus for this style of wine.

This is a great wine to drink on its own or it would fit well with Asian style food or fresh shellfish. New season’s asparagus or dishes featuring goat cheese would be sensational match.

Trinity Hills reputation is based on their ability to produce outstanding wines that explode with fruit character and yet retain the sophistication and complexity we would expect from old world wines. John Hancock is regarded as one of New Zealands leading and most innovative winemakers.
