"2010 is an unmissable vintage for Bordeaux - taste for yourself with this fruit-filled claret"
Gold Medal: Brussels International Wine Show 2011
Made from 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. The colour is ruby red, the nose is fruity with a touch of spicy oak in the background, and the palate shows cassis, black cherries and fine, soft tannins. Versatile enough to match a wide range of foods but particularly good with beef dishes.
One of the joys of the 2010 wines is their luscious fruit, which makes them delicious drinking when youthful, yet they have the structure to mature gracefully. The other is that quality is up across the board - from the mighty First Growths to the much more affordable petit chateaux.
