"lively and nicely fruited on the palate with a lingering juicy finish"
4 Stars (86/100 Points): Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Youthful and fruity on the nose, this appealing wine shows citrus, stone fruit and floral characters. It's lively and nicely fruited on the palate with a lingering juicy finish. It's elegantly framed and finishes pleasantly dry, and offers good value for money. At its best: now to 2013, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Lifted aromas of pear and apricot, supported by some delicate floral notes. Medium-bodied with refreshing flavours of pear and apricot with a touch of spice. The fruit for this wine comes from select sites in Marlborough. A small portion of this wine was fermented in old oak barrels and underwent secondary fermentation to add complexity and mouth feel. The wine is drinking well now and will be at its best over the next two to three years.
Well matched with a range of foods such as chicken risotto, grilled salmon or rare beef salad.
