A lovely light cranberry red colour with aromas of wild strawberry and papaya. Made from a blend of Riesling and Merlot this wine is fresh and bright with well balanced acidity and a lovely weighty texture. The fruit for this wine was specially selected from vineyards throughout Marlborough. The grapes spent just a few hours on skins to extract the delicate colour. After settling the juice was fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel at cooler temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness. Luscious ripe fruit flavours of strawberry and papaya are evident on the palate with hints of mandarin and a long elegant finish.
