"The palate is juicy and smooth"

(84/100 Points): Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"A youthful and pristine Pinot showing fragrant aromas of red cherry, floral and hints of spice and mushroom. The palate is juicy and smooth with a easy-flowing mouthfeel, leading to a pleasing fruity finish. A well-priced Pinot showing lovely ripe fruit flavours. At its best: now to 2013." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

“Light purple-hued crimson-red colour, lighter on edge, very youthful.  This has a fresh and intense nose of bright raspberry and cherry aromas with underlying notes of herbs and minerals.  Attractive lifted and confectionary aromatics show whole berry characters.  Medium-bodied, refreshingly bright and juicy flavours of raspberry confectionary are up-front and enlivened by brisk acidity.  The tannin extraction is modest, allowing the fruit to feature.  Some alcohol drive carries the fruit flavours to a moderately sustained finish.  Drink this bright, juicy, uncomplicated Pinot Noir with antipasto, tapas and pizza over the next 2-3 years”  Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, May 2012

"Wonderfully intense nose of cherries, ripe raspberries and hints of chocolate. The palate displays a good concentration of juicy berry fruit and is brilliantly balanced with some delicious savoury and herbal notes. Tasty stuff which all pulls together nicely. A perfect drink on its own or with barbecued lamb rack or sausages with fresh green bean salad. Drink now or at its best over the next three years."
