"lush and rounded"

91/100 POINTS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

17.0+/20: Raymond Chan, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews

A lovely ripe pinot showing perfumed aromas of dark cherry, plum, game and mushroom. The palate is lush and rounded with velvety texture, leading to an expansive finish. A fabulous combination of fruit richness and savoury complexity. At its best: now to 2014. 14% Screw cap. March 2013.

"Light ruby-red colour with some youthful purple hues and a pale edge. This has a soft, concentrated and intense bouquet of dark berry and cherry fruit aromas along with some fresh, dark herb notes providing interest. A fulsome, rich wine with upfront and mouthfilling flavours of dark plums, cherries and berry fruits laced with notes of Asian spices, liquorice and generously spicy oak. Match with Asian and Middle Eastern duck and lamb dishes over the next 4-5 years.  17.0+/20 " Raymond Chan, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews

INFORESCENCE (fr) – The flower cluster of the grapevine. It consists of mainly tiny individual blossoms, each attached by a tiny individual stem to a larger stalk to form a compound flower.
