"Full of attractive aromatic qualities, the wine displays delicious stone fruit and pear flavours with an underlying hint of spice"

Trophy for Champion Pinot Gris: NZIWS 2011

gold medal: NZIWS 2011

This wine has aromatics reminiscent of a fruit cocktail full of white pear, passionfruit and melon. On the palate this is duplicated with lovely rich flavours, a textured mid palate and an off-dry finish.

Mt Difficulty owns some of the oldest vineyards and is one of the most respected wineries in the Central Otago region of New Zealand's rugged South Island. Situated in Bannockburn, a unique and rare area of extremes, Mt Difficulty has harnessed the once brutal terrain to produce premium wines at the forefront of Central Otago's wine production.
