"powerfully fruited yet beautifully balanced with a succulent mouthfeel"

4.5 Stars: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

91/100: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"Full of zesty flavours, this vibrant Sauvignon shows lifted aromas of passionfruit, citrus and capsicum. The palate is powerfully fruited yet beautifully balanced with a succulent mouthfeel and a crisp lingering finish. This is hugely appealing and offers great value for money. At its best: now to 2013." Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

A blend of Marlborough fruit from the Rapaura area, Lower Wairau and the Brancott Valley. Cool fermented in stainless steel to retain lively, fresh fruit. This has a lifted, elegant nose showing passionfruit, blackcurrant and green herbs. The palate has excellent passionfruit sorbet and ripe grapefruit flavours with a touch of perfectly integrated gooseberry. The acidity carries through to the finish with some striking minerality.

An excellent wine to serve with seafood and fresh salads over the next two years.
