This is lush, succulent and fabulous drinking, and offers amazing value for money. The nose is beautifully fragrant showing passionfruit, feijoa and lime zest characters, followed by a mouthwatering palate full of juicy flavours. The wine has lovely youthful vibrancy and appeal. At its best: now to 2014. 13% Screw cap. Sept 2011. Sam Kim, Wine Orbit.
Stunning aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit and a hint of freshly cut nettles. There is a burst of fresh gooseberry and blackcurrant on the palate followed by an underlying crisp minerality. A well structured wine with superb balance and fine acidity that develops into an incredible lengthy finish. Made with fruit from several vineyards throughout Marlborough and cool fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel to maintain its fresh Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc characters.
Drinking beautifully now, this wine should develop in richness and depth over the next two years.
Enjoy with Marlborough steamed mussels cooked on the BBQ in garlic and parsley butter.
