"exuberant palate with appealing fresh fruit characters"

COLOUR: Medium straw colour with brilliant clarity.

NOSE: Intense aromas of pear and nectarine with hints of spice.

PALATE: An exuberant palate with appealing fresh fruit characters with a silky, off dry finish.

FOOD MATCH: Excellent with seafood, white meats, and spicier Asian dishes.

VINIFICATION. Grapes were sourced from the Hawke’s Bay region of New Zealand’s North Island. The grapes were harvested at optimum maturity, with excellent flavour, sugar and acid profiles. The berries were evenly coloured with a typical shade of light grey and flecked with red and pink. Upon harvesting all fruit was crushed, destemmed and direct pressed with no skin contact. Cool fermentation was carried out exclusively in stainless steel tanks, using yeast sselected for their ability to accentuate both aromatics and mouthfeel. The final blend was fined and filtered prior to bottling.
