"full bodied, with ripe plum, black olive, cloves and a lingering spicy finish"
Gold Medal: San Francisco International Wine Competition
The Shiraz variety epitomizes Australian red wine. It grows successfully in many regions providing a supple richness and generosity of flavour. The 2009 vintage grapes were sourced from the Mt Lofty Ranges and the Limestone Coast.
"The wine is a deep rich colour. The nose shows liquorice and plum with a note of rich spice. The palate is full bodied, with ripe plum, black olive, cloves and a lingering spicy finish.
In ideal cellaring conditions this wine will develop further flavour complexity to 5 years."
Enjoy with rare garlic herbed rib eye steak, or richly flavoured game including venison and succulent marinated kangaroo steak.
