Fruit for this wine was sourced from some specifically chosen low cropping vineyards from Marlborough’s Waihopai Valley and Omaka Valley. The wine has been aged in a mixture of new and older seasoned French oak. It is fruit driven in style with delicious strawberry, raspberry and dark fruit layers. Beautifully balanced acidity leads to an elegant well integrated finish. Drinking beautifully from the outset, this wine will mature into a fuller, more complex wine that can be enjoyed over the next five years.
Well matched with salmon, calamari, grilled chicken or beef with mushroom sauce.
