The wine displays complex aromas including Brazil nuts, ripe feijoa, peach and tropical fruits. An elegantly rich palate enhanced by its fullness and balanced subtle acidity.
Hand selected from our blocks, is our very special Misty Cove Ella Maria Sauvignon Blanc. These ripe little beauties are hand harvested, whole bunch pressed, and wild fermented in French Barriques (25% new oak). After 9 months in barrel the wine is lightly fined and filtered with further bottle ageing before release.
2018 Ella Maria is the third release of this very special and highly sought-after wine. Named after Andrew and Marieke’s first Daughter, Ella Maria, only 1500 bottles were produced of this fine vintage.
